Sept 18, 2009
Pending favorable conditions, fire managers are planning prescribed fires
in the following projects for the week of Sept 21.
All prescribed fire activity is dependent on personnel availability, weather
– including ventilation conditions, and approval from the Arizona Department
of Environmental Quality (ADEQ).
For Monday, September 21:
Fort Valley Project – Approximately 320 acres of broadcast burning
off Hwy 180 and Snowbowl Road. Smoke is expected to move northeast
with the forecast winds; some residual smoke will likely settle around
the Baderville area overnight.
