HSDPA Modem slow | |
| [Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] | |
Hi, I have tested 2 usb HSDPA modems: HUAWEI 220 Globesurfer Icon Both modems works fine and connects with pppd (2.4.4). The problem is that I can't make them run at upload speed higher than 64kbps. The download works fine at about 200kbps. This is not a modem problem as long as in a Fedora 5 PC Linux system running the same kernel version(2.6.15) it works at least at double speed. Anyway in this device (Neruos-OSD) I can't make it run at higher speeds not even using option.c driver or aiprime.c driver. I also tried to use the patch for usb-serial.c to increase buffer size but no way! Any help or suggestion will be really appreciated.
