Industrial USB Sensors

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Can anyone recommend manufacturers of USB Sensors for industrial and/or
robotic applications for measuring things such as distance, atmospheric
pressure, temperature, acceleration, etc. Would be especially interested
in finding LEL (Limit Explosive Level) sensors for measuring gas
(solvent) concentrations. Also would be nice to find USB devices that
can do output such as PWM and other outputs. I'm familiar with Datapac
but hoping to have modularity like the Oak Smart USB Sensors. Looking
for low cost solutions and of course, Linux compatibility is a must...
Currently we are using our own proprietary controller board with lots of
analog and digital I/O connected via serial port to a PC running linux
but this is a costly and complex solution especially for some of our
simpler projects that don't need 24+ input/outputs. Any feedback is
appreciated.

Here is a link to the Oak sensors in case anyone is interested.
