Hi, i am in need of an actual working driver for my ovcam´s, i use the same product of the vendor terratec (terracam usb pro), but terratec has built in a new chip, the ov518, in his newer devices and so i need an update of the ov511 driver. The latest driver compile against 2.6.16, with Debian Etch Standard i use 2.6.18, which is not really new but it dont compile. Will there be a newer driver to use it with later kernels than 2.6.16 or can i fix the gcc command to run with my kernel ? I found Markus Reichelt in the Mailing List,he asked the same question some days ago, but he got no answer :( http://lists-archives.org/linux-usb-users/05126-status-of-ov518-drivers.html I would be very glad to get some answer, thank you in advance and regards from germany, stefan -------------------------------------------------------------------------Take Surveys.
