Hello linux-usb-users I'm new in this list, and English is not my native language ... sorry for this if you have some problems to understand. Here is the problem : I use Mandriva 2006 distribution and have install a palm tcp/ip connexion over ppp using usb cradle, according to the tuto *http://atulchitnis.net/writings/palm-ppp.php Mandriva 2007, the last version, purpose another way to manage palm usb connexion, because a new kernel (*kernel 2.6.17) is integrated. Visor module and as a result the /dev/pilot nor /ttyusbxx are depreciated (bad news, is'nt it ?). So, palm connexion application like kpilot must use the syntax " usb: " as device. This seems to work with Kpilot, but not for the tct/ip connexion. The pppd telle me 'host not found : usb' if I configure MyHost: 'usb :' in the config part of the sh script. Well, have you any idea to make this ? Thanks for any response If I find id, I'll tell you.
