Eh? 2.6 is the current stable kernel, and has been for some months... current version of Novell/Suse enterprise server is based on 2.6, as well as the last 2 releases of suse pro.
Kernel 2.4 is in maintenance mode, basically legacy at this point. Best Regards, Joe
