    My experiments half a year ago showed that each worker-thread
    has its own address-space when calling into user-modules, and
    thus each PHP request is also handled in a separate
    address-space.  If that has changed, adding
    PHP_BUILD_THREAD_SAFE to tux/config.m4 will be sufficient to
    address the issue.  I'd appreciate any links to documentation
    regarding this behaviour.
