Hi all, Based on the subject, this may seem easy by forwarding X11 to the machine you connect to it will work, but I want to have the same variable that was in the client machine on the machine I connected to. Let’s say I have machine X1 and X2. The DISPLAY variable in X1 is X1:14. Then I connect throw ssh to X2 and I want to have the same value (X1:14) and not X2:10. Is this possible? The ssh in X1 is: % ssh -V Sun_SSH_1.1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090704f And in X2 is: % ssh -V OpenSSH_3.9p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7a Feb 19 2003 Thank you very much for your help, Best Regards, Mohamed
