anyone used SilverFast with Nikon LS40 / IV ED?

Hi folks,

Has anyone on the list used SilverFast (of any flavour) to drive a Nikon
CoolScan IV ED (LS 40)?

I'd be interested in any comments about the quality of scans achieved with
this compared to the standard Nikon software, particularly for slides.

I've been playing with VueScan but I'd like better (more accurate) colour
straight off the bat (as well as a better interface).
