Win2K and WinXP don't have an ASPI driver for SCSI devices, having replaced it with a more modern (?) means for accessing SCSI. But NikonScan still needs ASPI. If you happen to own Roxio Easy CD Creator (even the basic version that comes free with many CD burners), installing that will give you the ASPI layer. You may also be able to find it on Roxio's or Nikon's site, but I haven't looked. -- Ciao, Paul D.
