Kami vs. Howtek

Does anyone know if there is still a problem with the Kami mounting fluids and
the Howtek drums?

We just had new acrylic put on our drums and don't want to ruin them, but the
company that did the replacement could not confirm or deny the Kami conundrum.

It seems to be an ongoing mystery.
