I won't argue with you that "you need" whatever resolution you can buy these days for film scanning... but it may not be what he needs. I have suggested the PrimeScan at 1800 dpi to several people who aren't after large prints, or maybe not even after prints at all - just email or web images. You can get a reasonable 8 x10 from a 1800 dpi scanner if the scanner is really giving you something close to that. Art Jerry Olson wrote: > Probably won't be satisfactory for slides.
