In the beginning, the Minolta Multi Pro was getting great reviews. However, as more general public got hold of it, the complaints have begun. The main problem seems to be something (grain aliasing? internal sharpening? lighting type?) which causes grain and defects to be quite exaggerated. Slight defocusing helps a little. Recently, I have heard of a rash of people exchanging these for either the Polaroid SS120 or the Nikon LS-8000. Check the web for numerous more recent review sites from individual users.
