I just bought a used Umax Powerlook III for this purpose, and to do
final scans of medium and large format. I have scanned about 10 contact
sheets so far by just placing the negfile page on the glass. Results
have been terrific. This is a very good scanner.

Subject: how to make proof sheets via flatbed?
1. Question: Is there a good method to make proof / contact sheets
of COLOR NEGS via flatbed?
2. I read this tutorial on how to make B & W proof sheets, but the
results were terrible for color. Any recommendations appreciated.
