I just bought a used Umax Powerlook III for this purpose, and to do final scans of medium and large format. I have scanned about 10 contact sheets so far by just placing the negfile page on the glass. Results have been terrific. This is a very good scanner. Question: Is there a good method to make proof / contact sheets of COLOR NEGS via flatbed? 2. I read this tutorial on how to make B & W proof sheets, but the results were terrible for color. Any recommendations appreciated. Harry Shin For as long as space endures, And for as long as living beings remain, Until then may I, too, abide To dispel the misery of the world.
