how to make proof sheets via flatbed?

1.   Question:  Is there a good method to make proof / contact sheets
of COLOR NEGS via flatbed?   
2.   I read this tutorial on how to make B & W proof sheets, but the
results were terrible for color.   Any recommendations appreciated.
