I'm not certain about it but when I tried Silverfast on the Nikon LS 8000 I got an IT8 transparency lend to me as well. I doubt it originally belonged to that copy of Silverfast. However the data of the file I could download from Silverfast's site. And on the slide frame Silverfast was mentioned. What surprised me however was that in the data 'Wolf Faust' was mentioned. While I know that he sells IT8 reflection targets for a nice price I didn't know that he already produced transparency targets. On his site there's an announcement for a year at least that he intends to that in the near future. Could be of course that Wolf made transparency targets for Silverfast in a former life. Wolf seems to be still on holidays as he didn't reply on a request I send him some weeks ago. At least you could try it. And any other IT8 transparency (Kodak, Agfa, Fuji) will do the work of course. Some time ago I did read that a Fuji target should be more universal than the Kodak or Agfa targets. Don't know where I read that and whether it is true. Maybe someone else did read that too and can say it is BS. Ernst - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
