Excellent analysis! Have you been cracking the Digital SHO code? Did you
look at the patents?

The only way to have your cake and eat it is to tone correct on copies of
the original image and then blend each into the required area, using
photoshop - mind you you will need to be very good at identifying the tonal
boundries across any particular area of image.
On a single image - not a chance.
Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short. Use accurate
