Re: Sprintscan 120 issues/findings (comments welcomed)

Art

The PiezographyBW ink system on an Epson 1160 can distinguish every tonal
between 0 and 255, and a step wedge under a 10X loupe shows continuous tone
as a result. I am producing prints that exceed the quality of many of my
silver based prints.

You will often find that what appears as shadow on a screen will show detail
when printed, as the Piezo can render the tones that the screen cannot
display.

I use mainly Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308.

Are you a Piezo user already?

Simon
