Friends, I have a Minolta Dimage Multi Pro, and run Windows 2000, and I notice that my scanned Ektachrome slides, prior to any adjustments, contain color casts. They do not closely match what I see on the light table. Correcting the color casts is vexing, since they do not seem to be linear. In addition, once I pull the image into Photshop, it doesn't really match what I was in the pre-scan window either. It seems more saturated. My monitor is calibrated, and I own a copy of ColorVision ProfilerPLUS, which has allowed me to profile my printer. My working space is Adobe RGB. Is there a target slide that I can purchase - and how would I use it ? I also own a copy of VueScan. Thanks ! Ken Lee - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
