Calm down. It's entirely possible that the banding is caused by mismatch among the three separate CCDs, and that some units have better matched CCDs than others. This would explain the problem being slight for you, and significant for someone else. Whether the problem is rare among all users is of little interest to someone who has the problem, except that it may mean that it can be solved by exchanging the unit. -- Ciao, Paul D.
