Hello fellow scanners,

This is plea for the group to return to the subject matter of scanners
and scanning.

I have learned so much about the practice of making images on
computers from "hard copy" in this forum regardless (and without
caring) of political, environmental or personal traits of the
members.  I still do not everything about the subject (indeed I really
only know enough to know how little I really do know) so would like to
continue learning.

If the group falls permanently victim to the chaos currently
displayed then we will all be the losers
