Does Nikon Coolscan IV install + work OK on Win98SE?

I'm thinking about buying a Nikon Coolscan IV ED (LS-40 ED) and I'd like to
know if there are any problems or issues with either installing or using the
scanner on Windows 98SE.

I've searched the web archives but can't find anything relating to this.

Any comments on installing and using this scanner on Win98SE, positive or
negative, would be welcomed.
