Interesting. I think we have different editions here in the States, of 
the same model number.   

My film adapter, under a narrowly-defined purpose of just holding film, 
would work on any flatbad scanner. The difference in the 1650 I have is 
the light source in the lid, which is narrow and I suspect designed only 
for 35mm film.

I would like to have had the larger negative/film capability that you have.
