If you want, you can put a direct link to the Device Manager on your start
menu or desktop so you don't have to open Control Panel and select
"System." Put the following in a shortcut:

In Windows 95/98
c:\windows\system32\control.exe sysdm.cpl,system,2

In Windows 2000/XP
%windir%\system32\mmc.exe c:\winnt\system32\devmgmt.msc

Probably even quicker:

In W9x/ME, hit Windows/Pause-break.

In 2000/XP, the same and click on Hardware -- Device Manager.

Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short. Use accurate
subject lines. http://www.leben.com/lists for list instructions.

Charles - Could you explain, please? The Pause/Break key does nothing on my ME machine. Is there something I should do prior to pressing it?
