menu or desktop so you don't have to open Control Panel and select
"System." Put the following in a shortcut:
In Windows 95/98
c:\windows\system32\control.exe sysdm.cpl,system,2
In Windows 2000/XP
%windir%\system32\mmc.exe c:\winnt\system32\devmgmt.msc
Probably even quicker:
In W9x/ME, hit Windows/Pause-break.
In 2000/XP, the same and click on Hardware -- Device Manager.
