RE: Epson 1680 SCSI Problem

Tom --

A-OK except you shouldn't have to highlight "Imaging Devices" or the SCSI
card. When the Device Manager window is active, you can hit "refresh" and
Windows will perform an update of all plug-and-play devices. FYI, in
Windows 2000 (and I presume in XP too), you can right-click in Device
Manager and select "Scan for hardware changes" to have the computer refresh
all drives and SCSI devices.

If you want, you can put a direct link to the Device Manager on your start
menu or desktop so you don't have to open Control Panel and select
"System." Put the following in a shortcut:

In Windows 95/98
c:\windows\system32\control.exe sysdm.cpl,system,2

In Windows 2000/XP
%windir%\system32\mmc.exe c:\winnt\system32\devmgmt.msc

Hope this is useful.
