I think it helps people understand SCSI better if they consider that the controller itself is a device. Like a SCSI peripheral or drive, the controller requires a SCSI ID (usually defaults to ID # 7), and if the controller is at the end of the chain (which it is most, but not all cases), it too must be terminated. - Turn off HTML mail features.
