Okay, so maybe all of this extra bit talk is pointless for most users. How about features that are useful? Here's some: Buy up Painter 7 and integrate their brush features fully into Photoshop. Auto negative/film color cast removal - that orange negative thing when reversing. and Histories where you can see the actual adjustment values you made before! Really annoying having made a, let's say, levels adjustment only to forget later what those exact values were (and not having saved them either, which you can't when adjusting brightness/contrast, eg....). Better upsampling algorithms like those used in Qimage Pro. Workplace sets. Never have to change monitor proof settings, printer settings, tool layouts, etc. when working with different printers or papers again! Just one click and everything changes as needed. eg. one for panoramics, one for matte papers, etc. Integration with hardware color calibrator. It's got color mgmt. built-in, so it's just one step further to bundle an optional Spyder & built-in Photocal plugin. Digital ICE ala Nikon scanners. yes, you won't have an IR channel to work from, but whatever they can add. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
