RE: Epson 1680 SCSI Problem

Mike,

OK. I will give that a try. Do recall however, that I did try the Epson in
the middle of a chain and it still did the same thing.

Seems to be the consensus that termination is a big problem. Just curious,
what is it that Windows sees that causes it to lock up when the device is
not properly terminated?

(I will let you know if new termination helps.)

Jim:

Try switching the scanner internal terminator off and putting an external
terminator on the other port.
