I'm using a G450 in an Asus mobo system, AMD XP o'clocked at 1.6GHz., 1.5GB of 6ns SDRAM and Win2kPRO for the previously mentioned work plus lots of development programming time using MS Visual Studio and Access database. The G450 is more than capable in terms of resolution and has dual monitor outputs that I have a pair of 19" Viewsonic PF790's plugged into. This is the bomb for editing both scanned film (Polaroid SS4000), and watching MS Visual BASIC/C programs working over an MS Access database. If I had the square footage I'd stick in another G450 and two more monitors to work across 4 monitors. Maybe this would be a good time to switch to the G550DVI and go with 4 17" digital flat panels, hmmm.... Regards, Chip Louie - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
