I know that others believe you and will back you up, but I'm not among them. Count me as being quite content with a piddling 24 bits per pixel. I see no need for more. That's not just my opinion, but it's way too late to argue. Here's a simple experiment that costs nothing to try. Open a nice colorful image in Photoshop. Go to Image->Adust->Posterize and experiment with some really small numbers for the Number of Levels. It's amazing to me how few levels you need to represent most photographic images. rafe b. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
