Re: epson 2450 chews at hard drive

When the Twain driver (v. 5.53A) that came with my Epson 780 runs, it 
causes periodic hard drive access every second or so, no reason known. I 
have plenty of RAM, but even when it's not being used actively it causes 
this clicking access. I exit it whenever I can. Can't be helping drive 
life, but I suppose it's normal for this Twain driver. It's not 
"whining". Anyone else notice this?
