Hi Carl, Thanks for this. I have been trolling through the archives on the link you posted. I am using Win98 and the bundled software that came with the scanner, Photoshop LE. I'll update this program later. I have been testing the Vuescan program which I downloaded this morning ( thanks Maris ) and will continue to do so. I guess I'll have to work through it all a bit more so I can at least ask more specific questions here. Thanks also for your response Sam. Glad to hear that results with little correction is possible. I also use the Supra film for outdoor often but don't really think that mine is a film type issue. I actually printed an 8" x 10" of a night shot taken on Fuji Press 1600 and was really surprised how well it held up in regard to grain. Back to the grindstone.
