Hi, Maris, I haven't tried Vuescan, but will investigate. I am extremely impressed with ICE and have set about rescanning my website material with the 2740S. Check out www.scotcolour.com . I have also found Jack Phipps at Applied Science Fiction more than eager to listen to comments on the system. I changed the mail to plain text - thanks for the prompt. I don't know if you use it, but Vuescan also uses the IR channel the 2740S scans for dust and scratch removal - you might try it out. > http://www.hamrick.com/vsm.html > > Maris > > P.S. A good investment, but much more to be researched in this area... At this point in time to be recommended! > > Murchu > http://www.scotcolour.com > > - > Turn off HTML mail features.
