One thing I have noticed about ICE is that it tends to emphasise the film
grain, however smoothing out the pixelation via Photoshop helps. Also
noticed that something as simple as the moiré removal stage in Micrografx
PP7(Photofix 'Wizard') brings the end scan up beautifully.
Heavy dust particles should still be removed before scanning - it will shift
the lighter stuff!
