If you are so focused on photography, why the hell did you join a scanner related mailing list?  Those of use who do photography and also scan it are as much concerned with the technical things dealing with how our digital equipment is maintained and operates as we are about how our camera's are maintained and work or the best techniques for shooting a given subject under particular situations for given purposes.  

 

I think you need to find yourself another list more to your liking rather than try to change the existing list.
