Acer Sanwit 2740S

I recently purchased an Acer Scanwit 2740S incorporating Digital ICE technology and am fairly content that the extra cash paid for the ICE card was worth the investment. The process of removing dust, scratches etc. from the surface of ageing transparencies has been partly addressed by Applied Science Fiction but there is still considerable work involved in the post-scan process. Anyone with the same experience?
