Carl Peterson > Yes-- The Epson tech told me to do 3 cleaning cycles in a row. That decreased the amount of ink deposited about 85%, but the problem is still there. They won't fix it under warranty because Epson doesn't pay repair shops enough to do it. That's why they keep replacing the whole printer. I might keep the printer in spite of this problem because all 3 that Epson sent me in replacement were worse! And except for the slight ink on the leading edge, this is a great printer: no banding, clean (no spray) inside, quiet! and all parts move fluidly. Or, if extra cleanings don't do the trick, I might return it for a complete refund and go for a 1280 or ? Nikki - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
