Re: Kodak RFS3600 scanner

Hi All:

Might want to check Bruce Fraser's review of the Kodak:

http://www.creativepro.com/story/review/14922.html

I have one, and found that it does have some quirks. Edge focus softness is
one of them, but is no worse than the new Nikon 4000/8000 in film holders of
which I've been playing with.

Kodak's addition of Silverfast has really made mine sing: big, fat full
histograms. I've also found it to be just fantastic with C41 materials.

On the downside, they make some ugly noises, and can have some film plane
focus problems.

For what it's worth,

Dave
