RE: Nikon LS-1000 and Windows 2000



Yes, that has worked for me in both win 2k and win xp.
Although if you talk to the Nikon tech support people
they tell you not to do it as the aspi layer is
supposed to interfere with some other programs such as
Windows media Player. So far I have had no problems on
an Athlon 1200 system with the VIA drivers in place. I
used the EZ-SCSI 5 that Nikon sent me on a Cd even
though they warned me not to use it. It does not list
the LS-1000 in the setup but I used the setup for the
LS-30 instead.
