Hi Bob, I don't really care to see people posting different "facts" that conflict, this just mixes up even technically inclined and lord help those who are not technically inclined they'll never be able to figure out what's B.S. and what's not. A fact is just that. Various opinions are certainly welcome IMO, until someone resolves the issue by defining the problem, the environment and conditions and documents how the issue was resolved. Then it becomes a fact, not opinion. The fact is if people keep buying products that don't work or are incomplete before they ship then the manufactures will keep selling products in this fashion. Why on earth would anyone buy a product that doesn't work or lacks drivers to do what they need it to do? This is just stupid IMO. I've been designing, building, manufacturing, teaching and consulting on microprocessor systems since 1976. In the old days products never worked out of the box, you had to assemble the boards and write and hand assemble the programs to get them to do anything. BUT this was expected. Now I expect the things to work and if they don't, I don't buy them. Regards, Chip Louie > > > My oh my. So do I d/l the latest drivers.
