1.   i just got the dimage multi pro the other day and made my first
scan today--a full report to follow (note:   a novice's report).   all
i can say at this time is this:   a)  it works  b)  as a novice, i really
had no problems getting a nice scan (color neg, 35mm).   c)  i had to
do zero color editing on the particuular neg (outside, landscape), and
thus it appears that color accuracy is pretty decent.   d)  the neg i
scanned actually had a minor but noticeable scratch which definitely
showed up in the raw scan--> then used ICE, it actually works as well.
  e)  output:  got a nice print using 1280 & Ilford Galerie
