Anything I should know about running an old SCSI scanner under Win 2K???? More specifically, a Polaroid SprintScan 35+ ? Insight (4.5, with "upgrade") seems to want a file wnaspi32.dll -- but I get strong hints that the usual "EZ-SCSI" stuff shouldn't be be installed on Win 2K. The old TWAIN backend (direct) driver reports "Windows Support for SCSI was not found..." Oddly enough, both the scanner itself and the Advansys SCSI card show up properly in Device Manager, with no errors. (Advansys 922 is the PCI board that came with the scanner.) The SCSI BIOS properly identifies the Polaroid scanner during boot time. FWIW, Epson 1640SU Photo and Nikon LS-8000 installed under Win2K without a hitch. rafe b. - Turn off HTML mail features.
