a user getting prompt via netbios

Hi,

i have a user who is continually  getting password prompt via Netbios
access however via IP it is working fine moreover log files of the
specific user are empty and rest of the users are ok with netbios and
IP both. any idea please help? whould it be a machine issue (windows
side) or samba side?
