odd RPM specfile behavior

Hello,

I noticed some odd behavior while building
an RPM package.  The specfile contains
the following line:

    License: (c) Copyright
IBM Corp. 2001-2010 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

However, when I build and install the
package and use "rpm -qi" to view the package
information, the license is shown as:

    (c) Copyright IBM Corp.
2010-2010 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Notice that the "2001-2010"
has been changed to "2010-2010".  Why the strange behavior?
Is there a workaround?
