Um, if you have a VIA sound chip, using the maestro3 driver has about 0% chance of working. That's why I was responding to the other person. :) The 8233 isn't supported by the via82cxxx audio driver at the moment. ALSA *may* have support for this chipset; I haven't looked. Bill
