[Sound] no sound with RedHat Linux 8.0

My system was running fine under RH 7.3. Since "up-grading" to R.H 8.0 I have no more sound on my system.

errors during start-up

After running "Sound Card Configuration" through "setup", everything seems to be ok, even after logging out and in again, there's still sound on the system. However after rebooting same errors as above during start-up and no sound again.

I tried to modify /etc/modules.conf without success.

The sound card characteristics are: OPTI Audio 16:AUXO.

Any help would be welcome.
