redirect error output from rpm? | |

If you are using bash, add 2>&1 to redirect stderr (file descriptor 2)
to stdout (file descriptor 1):
# rpm -e packagename >> ~/unist.txt 2>&1
If you are using csh or tcsh, you add & immediately after the >>
redirect command:
# rpm -e packagename >>& ~/unist.txt
