user cron be viewed by $crontab -l to remove jobs use $crontab -r to edit $crontab -e
System cron is in the file /etc/crontab. Scripts are in the directories /etc/cron.hourly, /etc/cron.daily, /etc/cron.weekly and /etc/cron.monthly.

I have my syslogd restarting at odd weeks it seems but always at the same time. How can i prevent this cron job from running. I can't find anything in cron though it seems. When syslogd restarts it also sometimes kills my internet ppp0 connection.
tail -100 /var/log/messages Jun 13 04:02:55 redhat syslogd 1.4.1: restart.
