Well, it's at an 85Hz refresh right now, so I don't think it's too low.
I'm very sensitive to low refresh rate flicker and this ain't it. :)

I also get some "curious" messages on console whenever I exit out of X
relating to the Radeon driver or DRM or something like that... (I'll
