hello

I have installed redhat linux8.0(Psyche). Its fine
upto that. I have downloaded linux kernel-2.4.18 from
kernel.org and patched with some of my stuff.

I did make oldconfig,
dep,clear,bzImage,modules,modules_install,copied the
bzImage to the /boot and System.map too. /lib/modules
had 2.4.18 kernel. i did mkinitrd initrd-2.4.18.img
2.4.18.i get the error

No module 3w-xxxx found for kernel 2.4.18

i did the process again including the low level driver
support for scsi raid controller but the error remains
the same

The drivers for scsi adapter, 3-ware raid controller
are there in the kernel source but it gives the error.

My system configuration

SE7501BR2 motherboard
Xeon processor
3ware scsi raid controller
adaptec scsi

Please let me know what is the problem.
